Chapter 4: Abigail
Alejandro was squirming inside, I could tell by his posture and uncontrollable fidgeting as he watched me flirt with Katherine's cousin, Christopher. I had him right where I wanted him. Before the night ended, he was going to regret ever treating me like a sex doll. I would make him wish he had never met me.
Christopher handed me another glass of wine, hoping I'd loosen up and maybe sleep with him. He was a good-looking man but lacked enough intrigue for me to consider ever sleeping with him, but he was fit for the job I had in mind − driving Alejandro up the wall.
Ray and Katherine stood up for a slow dance, and the bridesmaids followed them onto the dance floor; I saw an opportunity. I asked Christopher if he would like to dance and, without hesitation, he placed a hand on my waist and led me to the dance floor, but Alejandro wasn't looking. He was engaged in conversation with Michelle, though it didn't look like he was flirting, I couldn't help but wonder if he was trying to turn the tables on me.
Christopher pulled me closer to him, and I wrapped my hands around his neck, but again, Alejandro was busy laughing with his companion. The fellow redhead. He had a type it seemed.
Christopher's hands slid from my upper back to my waist, and from the hardness against my thigh, I knew he was getting turned on. I was becoming bored and irritated by Christopher, but when Alejandro looked my way, I continued dancing and pressing my body against his.
Alejandro whispered in Michelle's ear, took her hand and led her to join us on the dancefloor. They danced as close as Christopher and me, and while doing so, my eyes locked with Alejandro’s. The game was on. He was trying to prove a point − it was clear that it was me he really wanted.
When the music stopped for the next song, Christopher excused himself to go to the restroom. I sourly took a seat, watching Alejandro stoke Michelle's hair as they danced.
I took out my camera and looked through the pictures of my father, the couple, and the bridesmaids. As much as I hated the sight of my father, he had to be included in the album − Connelly's orders and I knew Ray would want it too.
Ten minutes later Christopher returned to the table, boner-free, and I wondered if he had masturbated in the restroom. The thought grossed me out. The more he talked, the slimier he became. For once, I was glad to see my father stand up to make a speech, saving me from more of Christopher's cheesy lines.
"I know this is a special day for my son, but I wanted to make another announcement," everyone waited for him to continue, "As you all know I have been a widower for years. I have thrown myself into my work and built an empire out of nothing. But even a man like me needs companionship.
